A collection of mugs
Here are some mugs I made for a special order... that pale pink is new... I really either need intense deep color or even paler color... Boy am I picky... Still developing glazes...
Ciao, only a few days we have a blog of pottery (only photos for now). I live in Turin and my name is Filippo Di Giovanni. With a friend Raffaella, three years ago we have opened a studio were we work with ceramica. We have not yet shown around our creations.
I would be pleased your comments on our works. thanks filippo
Thanks for all of the great comments guys... That pink does this sort of opalescence thing where it pools... I need to keep playing but tired of waiting to glaze... when I get back from our vacation I may just glaze and then go back to more tests... Those mugs will also probably be listed on Etsy at the beginning of July...
Hi Judi, these are just lovely, I love the colors and I especially like how the swirl you have goes so seamlessly into the handle, I'll bet they are lucious to touch.
OK So the handles do so look like they are apart of the mugs. Do you attach or are they really flowing from the MUGS. Gosh it's so good I just can't tell. And the different little "feet" looks like they are waiting to dance. Your detail is amazing! lovely!
What a great collection of mugs! I think the glazes are all beautiful!

ReplyDeleteLovely, Judi! I like the pink - it's subtle, soft and velvety looking not harsh like pepto bismol
