Just thought I'd share some visuals of where my head has been... some sketch book pages...
with photos and quick sketches and then a shelf of bisque...
Based on the above post, I should also tell you that I continue to read Lee Krasner's biography
and keep thinking about her "Little Images" and how in some way I am drawn to creating more of a collage effect in pieces both 3 dimensionally as well as regarding the surfaces... so the pieces that you are are seeing evolve now, feel like a jumping off point...
For some reason blogger is not posting new posts all the time on my blog roll and I am missing things!Like these wonderful sketch book pages, glad I scroll down to make sure I haven't missed anything!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the flow of the lines in your work, but your sketches and new work are very exciting, Judi. Can't wait to see what you'll do next.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!!! We shall see Natalie. After reading some articles in Studio Potter on FAILURE... I know that no matter what, it is the right thing to take the risks and feel nauseas and heartbroken!!!
ReplyDeleteTracey,I changed it into one post to avoid confusion!
